Bryan Jones, MS
Differentiated Accountability MTSS Specialist, Southeast Region
Bryan Jones serves as the Assistant Regional Director of Differentiated Accountability under the Bureau of School Improvement for the Florida Department of Education. In this capacity, he also serves as a Regional MTSS Specialist for Florida's PS/RtI Project. Bryan assists the seven school districts in the Southern region of the state with school improvement initiatives and developing and implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Student Supports.
Bryan earned his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and African/Caribbean American Studies as well as his Masterís degree in Exceptional Student Education and Reading from The University of Miami (FL). Prior to his current responsibilities, Bryan served as a classroom teacher in elementary and high school settings in Miami, Florida and Cincinnati, Ohio and then as the Special Education Coordinator at a K-8 STEM school in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bryan is passionate about education and ensuring all students have a fighting chance to learn to their full potential.
