Differentiated Accountability MTSS Specialist, Northwest Region
Susan Lowrey-Sexton has been working as a School Improvement Specialist in the Northwest Region for the past three years. She serves as the Assistant Regional Director of Differentiated Accountability under the Bureau of School Improvement for the Florida Department of Education. In this capacity, she also serves as a Regional MTSS Specialist for Florida's PS/RtI Project. She travels across the northwest area of the state supporting school improvement initiatives and developing and implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Student Supports. She has previously worked as a high school teacher, school psychologist, school principal, and district administrator. Susan particularly enjoys her role in strategic planning for continuous improvement, developing professional training, and data-driven problem solving.
